FIELD NOTES / 001
There is no
right place
to begin.
Try something. Then move it.
Your board is a space for type, colour, and half-formed ideas. Add a piece, change its words, choose a colour. Drag cards to reorder them, or use the move controls in the editor.
Everything stays in this browser. Export a JSON copy to keep your composition. This is a local design playground, without accounts or collaboration.
Make your first move ↗A board, not a brief.
Canvas is a fictional creative workspace: a place to collect type, colour, and half-formed ideas before any of them becomes a deliverable.
Start with a fragment
A phrase, a swatch, a shape. The library holds original starting points, and every one of them is there to be remixed.
Make it yours
Reword it, recolour it, duplicate it. The board rewards the small act of making something slightly less correct.
Yours, locally
No accounts, no uploads, no sync. The board lives in this browser and can leave only as a JSON file you choose to keep.
From spark to composition.
Add a piece
From the library or from scratch. Type, shape, or note — whichever feels closest to the idea.
Make it yours
Edit the words, pick a paper colour, choose the kind. Every piece is a small argument, not a final answer.
Rearrange the room
Drag cards, use the move controls, or undo the last decision. The composition is a conversation with yourself.
People who keep a living board.
My moodboards used to die in a folder named final_final. Here they keep moving, which is the whole point of a board.
The “less perfect, more possible” line is the most useful thing in my studio. I put it on a sticky note.
I export the board as JSON and open it again a month later. It reads like a letter from a more patient version of me.

What Canvas is and isn’t.
No. Canvas is a design concept by CEVUNO. There is no AI or cloud service — just a local board, original starting points, and your own ideas.
